Jazz Android tablet
Hi there
After purchasing 12 Fizzbooks which haven't lived up to expectations (too slow) - we are now looking for tablets for pupils to use - mainly Internet use (so we need Flash support).
I have priced up Blackberry Playbooks, which don't look bad but I just wondered if anyone had heard of the Jazz tablet? It only costs around £75 - but obviously I don't want us to get stuck with another set of duds!!
Anyone know anything about this product?
Ta

I've never even heard of it... That model number is all I can find on google. No reviews or anything.
Plus, EVERY website that mentions it has the EXACT same image of it.
TBH, I'm starting to think it doesn't actually exists.

Yes that's the one I mean. I know, I'm having trouble finding any info.
Maybe, Playbooks are a safer option!!

I can vouch for the Nexus 7, excellent piece of kit and great price.
If it's not an urgent purchase though, you may want to wait until Christmas and see if the rumoured £99 Nexus tablet actually gets released... Asus have publicly denied it but you never know.
EDIT: wanted to add, my recommendation is based on personal use, couldn't comment on school use.

We decided against iPads when looking about a year ago as they didn't support Flash and we couldn't use Education City. Anyone know which tablets can now access this?

Flash does work on Jelly Bean tablets if you side-load the Flash Player APK and use a different browser (Dolphin Browser HD v8.5.1).
That's what I use on my Nexus 7 when I am forced to use Flash.

The other rumour seems more credible - a 32GB Nexus 7 for £199/$250.
