SIMS Report
Afternoon,
I've been asked to write a 'clean slate' report i.e a report which shows which pupils have got:
100% Am & PM Attendance for the last week
0% late’s for the last week
0 behaviour points for the last week
Now I thought I'd cracked it but I've been given some names of pupils that should be on this but I can't for the life of me work out why they don't. I think the part I'm struggling with is getting this data for the previous week and not the entire year.
Hope that all makes sense.
Any help much appreciated

Can you share the report so we can see it?
The attendance part should be straight forward, and you can put date ranges in.
Ditto for behaviour i think, but it's a bit more complex. However combining the two is the bit i'm not sure about, it should work okay.

I just tried one based on student focus, with two sub queries. One counts students with marks between fixed dates, that are not of an absence type, and the other which counts behaviour between fixed dates with points greater than 0. It means you'd have to filter the results to find those with a 10 for the number of marks which you could see by sorting the report so the only manual bit would need to check for those with no behaviour incidents with points, so just cherry pick zeroes in that section of the list. not ideal, but could work. there are probably better ways on a different focus.

Honestly not looked at the problem per se, just thought I'd suggest a different approach that I've used when I can't get SIMS to spit out the dataset I require.
How about exporting two reports that each give half the answer into Excel and then using Excel to compare the two giving the final dataset?

Struggling with a similar issue - trying to create a report showing all students in specific reg groups with 100% attendance over the previous 4 weeks and then schedule it for individual form tutors. Can't see a method of exporting the 'inbuilt' Percentage Attendance report to enable me to edit it, reimport and then use with the SIMS scheduler.
