Hi
I'm writing up sequencing SIMS with App-v, and as i may as well publish it externally I can't actually remember what i needed to install on the image to support it or on the underneath the sequencer. As these bits are on the image i can't remember what was specifically for sims.
so far I've got.
.NET 4 (Full Version)
SQL Native Client
Windows Installer 4.5
any others?
SQL Native client is FMS
Adobe reader 8 or whatever it puts on by default.
Full god rights for all users on all areas of the image! ;)
app-v fixes the god right problem, you give them the rights with simsperm when sequencing and it retains it in the app-v bubble but they don't actually have full control over HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT on the real machine they are using.
