Business Objects Documentation?

Hey,

Is there any documentation on the SIMs business objects available? Trying to work out if an idea is possible, but can't see to find anything on them :( And don't want to have to sign up if it's not do-able.

I think it all comes as part of it. If you think about it, the documentation would give you all sorts of ways around the software.

If you are a customer of SIMS, you are entitled to the documentation, but you have to sign an NDA to access it. The dlls are already there in SIMS.net. Do you get your SIMS.net provided via your LEA? If so, contact the usual place you get your support from and ask them for the business objects.

What can you do with these Business Object things? I know there's some sort of NDA with them, but what sort of things do they allow you to do?

I've asked SIMS about them, but they always give me info about Command Reporter instead.

You can read / write most data to/ from the sims db via business objects.

What are you trying to do? Feel free to pm.
We are a sims partner so have documentation and example code.

Are you allowed to sell your services as a BO trainer?

Unfortunately, even if you contact your SIMS support / LA , they might not know what you are talking about. The best thing to do is get in touch with @David_Grashoff david.grashoff@capita.co.uk and explain where you work, and what you want to do and he'll be able to give you the best option.

Thanks to Vik and others for the guidance offered. Our challenge remains differentiating requests from customers (SIMS users) and others.
