Is anyone using Parents Evening System - Online Parents Evening Software ?
I would like to know what people think of it and hows its working out for them.
I want to move away from NovaP
I am about to do a trial of the software but wanted to know others experiences aswell.
@fiza - it's mentioned in quite a few other threads.
@vikpaw - I checked and a few threads mention it but not the pros and cons.
I am interested in this particular system as we use their Room booking system and its very good.
What's wrong with Nova-P!! It's Perfect!!! ROFL... IMHO it looks expensive, still if I got it, I would have more parents evenings.
@matt40k - How does it compare with the price of Nova-P?
Nova-P is included in Nova-T etc.
We have just completed our first two parent's evening with it. I LOVE it! Really easy to set up, and we had so many unsolicitored emails with positive feedback from parents. We opened our Year 9 bookings at midnight and 38 parents had booked by the time I looked at 5am. We had 4 office staff available in school to take phone bookings for those not wishing to book over the internet but for us the vast majority did it themselves. Price is reasonable and transparent (displayed on their website). The developers were extremely helpful and added a few useful features that I requested. ***** - 5 stars from me!
Sorry, not had a proper look, but do they have to register to make bookings? Just thinking wouldn't it be annoying if you had to have multiple logins to the various school systems as a parent.Quote:

Previously we used a system where students had to take a sheet of paper around the various teachers to book appointments, so it is a vast improvement on that.
There are different options. The way we do it, the parents have to enter the correct student name and form group (this is validated) and their name and contact details are collected at first use. Subsequent logins with the same details then give access to previous bookings etc.Quote:

Indeed, that was really the only complaints we had about the system. Some teachers really were not (some still aren't) comfortable with not being able to do that!Quote:
