LA Support turns into Traded Service?

Hi,

Has any local Sims support teams out there responded to the cut's etc by becoming a traded service within there authority?

i would be very interested in speaking with anyone who has or is thinking of it :)

ours isn't a fully traded service but we do pay for it through our Wan Services., Plus alot of the academys around here pay for support from our LA rather then capita directly

Same here - we pay an SLA to the LEA for SIMS support.

I believe that Leicester's team (LEAMIS) is and has been for a long time (possibly always).

These days it is normal for MIS support units to be traded.

tut Mark not Leicester but Leicestershire you will be told off ;)

Pretty much yes when Leicester city and Leicestershire split they created LEAMIS.
