FMS Lock request time out period exceeded [Solved]
We've got one particular order record on FMS that we are unable to delete and keep getting the following error:
[Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Lock request time out period exceeded [Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]The statement has been terminated
I logged a call with Capita, only for them to come back with, it's a Microsoft problem, not caused by FMS and here is a link to an article How to Minimize SQL Server Blocking
I'm now waiting for them to confirm that it is ok to apply this setting to the CCSFMS db as I don't want to be held accountable if something else breaks.
Assuming they do, does anybody have any suggestions on a suitable time out period?
