FMS: unsyncd database
Got in this morning to be greeted by the following screen when logging onto FMS
Anyone ever seen this before? FMS/SIMS certainly hasn't been restored at any pointI dot want to start restoring FMS back to any point or "bringing it in line" because I don't know what work the finance staff have done to it!:eek:
Something to do with the clocks going forward maybe??
never seen it before, but i figure this is the thing referred to in all the release notes about if you use SIMS personnel to carry out payroll projections in FMS, then the two systems have to be backed up together and also restored together.
have you recently upgraded sims? was there a failure or rollback/restore? maybe this was logged somewhere in the sql tables.
have you got any info back from SupportNet / Capita / local support i wouldn't want to keep using either system if there is a chance of them diverging and you end up losing data...
alternatively as you say, it could be a timecheck thing.
Run SIMS .net on the workstation in question, then run FMS. Normally fixes that one, assuming you haven't been restoring databases.
Some silly sod left FMS open over the clock change weekend :rolleyes:
Going into P7, open any staff contract, reselect their existing pay scale, save, then go into FMS and do salary projection fixed this one.
