We are looking at the possibility of employing someone to be the point man for CMIS in our school. Basically with the amount of work that I and my technicians do on the PC/Network/AV/Moodle side we have very limited time to make CMIS into the system that our Senior Leadership Team want it to be.
Does anyone have a job description for something like this.
Basically I am thinking something along the lines of....
Database Administrator and Application Specialist for Serco CMIS.
The candidate will either need to know or be willing to learn.
Knowledge of school requirements and the ability to translate them into a CMIS Solution.
Ability to create reports in CMIS
Support user queries and liase with software supplier to resolve issues.
Areas within the School requiring support (not in order)
Statutory reporting requirements
The ability to use CMIS and not go insane.
