Does anyone know what schools get for letting Capita use their name in marketing literature like brochures and case-studies? :)
Some of the benefits include:
Closer relationship with capita, you get to know them - good for calling in favours :)
If you deal with capita support directly, you are identified as a partnership school when calling up.
Publicity for your school through their publications.
Invites to a few events, including the annual partnership conference.
Its hard to quantify all the benefits, but we are a partnership school and are happy to be so. In general the more you put into being a partner, the more you'll get out.
For example, I'm sure if we asked to beta test an upcoming product, we would be considered favourable as capita know we take using SIMS seriously and it would be a mutually beneficial experience.
Plus, a different logo on your website/letterhead. :D
So no money/discounts from Capita then? And what about Serco?
Most partner scheme won;t give you discount often lot of partner schemes will give you a small (and we are talking small) amount of credit each year for being in the scheme.

Thanks for your interest in the SIMS Partnership Schools' Programme and thanks Steve for your overview of the benefits. I coordinate the programme and write many of the case studies. Please contact me directly for a more detailed overview and an application form.
We are always on the look out for schools to feature in case studies so if you feel your school is doing something of interest, please also let me know.
Best wishes
