    Importing Key Stage Results from a CTF

    Hello
    I am trying to import Key Stage results from a CTF (from another piece of software). The results are not importing. When I open the CTF I notice that the Result Qualifier is NL, if I change this to NF (like I see on CTFs coming out of SIMS) the result imports. Does anyone out there know what a Result Qualifier is? and what the meaning of NL / NF is?
    Many thanks

    @Rachy
    There is some info available here : Common transfer file (CTF) - Schools
    It didn't make much sense to me, this bit was the only reference in the latest documentation but you could check the other ones.
    P-Scales are not used in Wales. Schools in Wales should not, therefore, create any CTF where the <ResultQualifier> within a <StageAssessment> has a value of NP. Equally, where a CTF from an English school contains a <StageAssessment> where the <ResultQualifier> is NP, it should be stored separately in the MIS on import to a school in Wales and the data re-exported with its original values if the pupil later transfers back to a school in England.

    Thanks @vicpaw. I can see that the P scales have a Results Qualifier of NP, but no idea what NL or NF mean. I'll have a trawl of the website you quoted from...

    Hi, I found my answer in the end: Education Data

    Can't believe I have never known about them before - really useful when trying to import into SIMS from outside software.

    Good find. At least we know why it works.
