    Recording School Dinners

We use SIMS but dont use the Dinner Money Module.

We want to be able to record who has dinners on a daily basis. From the looks of the Dinner Money Module a register is taken by tutor group. Our kids line up by year group not tutor group.

What is the best way to register who has lined up for a dinner?

I know that you could ask the kids during first lesson if they are going to have lunch but this doesnt mean that they will actually have lunch and then we get into all sorts with the parents saying "but johnny didnt have lunch everyday this week". The register needs to be taken at lunchtime when they queue up.

Does anyboey do it this way? and if so how?

There is a Supervisor's List in DM7. You can tick of the children who have meals/those that don't, also monitor food allergies etc.
