    A quick note from Capita:
    • we'd be happy to visit schools in Birmingham if you would like a better look at SIMS;
    • there is no need to add on any percentage to the prices quoted as a five year cost was given
    • I agree that "right clicks" are bad and I'm getting them seen to!

    We looked at MIS from WCBS, Capita and iSAMS as we were fed up with issues raised never getting fully resolved in the 9 years we were with Facility (aka CMIS) and found that whilst no MIS is perfect and does 100 percent of what you want, iSAMS proved the best fit for us, their support is very good and we are a lot happier with it. Will happily explain in more detail individually if required.

    Is there going to be a cloud version of Sims one day?

    We are moving a lot of our services to the Web and rolling out Ipads. I just got a question from a teacher "Why won't Sims run on my ipad??". They have a point.

    Sims.net seems to not be going that way so we are starting to look at other options.

    It will !!!!
    One of the new Primary schools to Sims on Birmingham is running Full Sims Client as an APP on Mac's, Ipad's and Iphones using Citrix

    I am very un-technical so don't ask me how though ;-)

    Wow! not sure about the usability of Sims on an iPad though.

    Citrix is just a hack really.

    I would want a native app or at the very least web version.

    It's very usable on an iPad under Citrix - we have some ALL Apple schools using this with considerable success.
