MIS Systems Thread, publish cover in iis7 in Technical; anyone got any advice for publishing cover under iis7 I had it working fine under iis6 so im not sure ...

    anyone got any advice for publishing cover under iis7


    I had it working fine under iis6 so im not sure what im missing

    we have moved servers to 2008r2 and i need to reset up the publishing of cover to a webpage

    Ours just publishes to a folder on the shared area - we can then link to it from our intranet - never been a problem!

    What problem are you having? It's most likely permissions on the new server. I found they are a pain, even on shares, as there are multiple places to control it from. One only governs local share access, even though you'd think it was doing it for the network.

    Got it working

    seems someone had changed the path of the published files and for once it was not me..

    now it's all working

    this new server just seems to be one small thing after another but we are seeing some good speed increses so it's worth the effort
