About LinkBacksI've got emerge setup on a load of ipods but seem to have some problems with not being able to take some registers. They appear in the list but don't give you the option to take them and they are greyed out

Have you set the prmission and group memberships correctly together with the right staff code in the Emerge Mamangement Console?
I think so - they are setup as teachers. It happens to be with some lessons. For example one of the teachers Cannot take there register for 1+2 (double) can for 3+4 Cannot for 5+6
But there is no pattern in which ones can and Cannot be taken
Is the timetable correct in T6
Ŵe had a issue with not being able to mark some doubles at it was because the rooms were different for the double.
Just a thought,
Are any of those classes split taught with multiple teachers..?
Sorry I meant to update the thread, after many long conversations with support we noticed (should have been something i picked up earlier just didnt!). It was the app did not like Double Lessons!
We have therefore been issued with a new version of the App which is not in the AppStore. I'm currently testing, although the first app they released to me kept crashing!
But i thought you said it did do some doubles. Weird. SIMS recently had some peculiarity with doubles, whereby marks from 1st half didn't propagate to 2nd half, but i think that was when the room was changed or class code was not exactly the same due to the way it was timetabled. Maybe it's linked.
I think the SIMS issue should be resolved now in recent versions.

I presume once @glennda finishes testing, as he IS the Beta test, it will be compiled into the main app and released on the app store, so you'd think at least two weeks. But if you need it, they might release the test version to you for direct download, but it wouldn't be for putting out on all your devices.
@glennda did you need to supply your UDID for the test device or could you just download it?
Just quizzed one of my test users and not sure if it's linked to doubles or split taught classes, i'm waiting for a list of issues, but on some lessons on the timetable, it doesn't show all the lesson info, it just says Period 8 for example.
The class then has #'s filled in, but it's ghosted out. The totals at the top say 0 of 44 entered when it should be 22. So something seems to be duplicating. Also on trying to enter a mark, it comes up with error (19) - primary key must be unique in UPDATE AttMarks SET Mark = 'C' ... etc.
Anyone seen that, just going to send a screen shot to groupcall.
I just downloaded the app from the address they gave me (not going to publish as i don't think they would like me!)
Contact support and if they feel its right they will give you the address to download the app. they are also developing an HD version for the IPAD.
What is the version in the app store?
It's version 2.0.3 build 768. Well that's what i've got.
It's an iPhone version that scales up to iPad, not specifically written for iPad, as far as i understand.
