Can Sims be run in XenApp?

As the title suggests, can the sims client be run on users desktops as using XenApp? We are looking at moving to Sims and most of our SLT have iMacs now and it would be very useful if it could.

    Thanks

We use Xenapp here and SIMS works really well with it. Just publish the app as normal on citrix server and then thats pretty much it to be honest. We use it with Ipads for registration on trips and in PE etc.

    That's great, thank you.

Does anyone have any experience of running XenApp on Macs? I'm just wondering if it's possible to make the shortcut in the dock look like the actual application, if that makes sense? So Internet Explorer looks like ie to the user and they don't have to open multiple windows first.

Since we did the latest Sims updates yesterday we can no loger profile SIMS.NET using Xenapp 6.5 it has a Microsoft.net 4 error.

Tried profiling the .net installer as part of install but it fails.

has anyone done this on latest SIMS

yes it is doable using an .ica file. we stopped using this method though as it's a pain deploying new software. it's easier to just use the citrix web interface - all mac/linux clients just go to the website to choose the apps rather than shortcuts on the desktop.
