Have you got an advanced preview? Going to support it early this time
@DeeGee - i never had any problems with my reports when we switched. What exactly is going wrong? Have you tried saving an old one out of SIMS. Creating a new one and copy pasting the entire thing over into the new template?

The tags come through unpopulated, vik. I'm trying to reuse my old individual reports (which I've spent five years meticulously fine-tuning, enhancing and improving) but I'm basically just trying to open the old reports as they are currently on a PC with only 2010 installed. I've not yet had the inclination to faff around experimenting (because I'm lazy and I've got a virtual machine)

I did have to rebuild reports from scratch last year when we took over another academy, but I had the same problem so I've had to build a PC with Office 2003.

Tags come through, i.e. <First Semester Science grade 1> or just that the spaces are blank?
If the former, then it might be worth applying some of the Office hotfixes. It's mentioned in the known issues document on SupportNet now. Basically the Office June 2010 hotfix rollup has all that you need.
Also, in addition, open it for editing, make a change, then don't save, click the X to exit and then save when prompted. This used to help.

  5. Thanks to vikpaw from:
