    SIMS & truancy call error [Solved]

    Has anybody seen the above error? We have had the SIMS summer update and Truancy call appears to have updated itself over the summer. If you keep clicking ok to remove the error when you get into truancy call it does not see the kids marked as absent in SIMS!

    I have tried contacting Truancy call and cannot get hold of anyone and have been waiting for them to get back to me with no luck so far, any help would be appreciated

    I had the same problem yesterday when I did a fresh install of it.

    I unticked "Use assessment manager 6" closed and reopened truancy call. It then did an update.

    I then went back in and re ticked "Use assessment manager 6" and it worked.

    Fantastic, thank you! This seems to have worked both on a fresh install and a previous install. Will confirm all is well tomorrow morning when we get the new calls in

    Hi Winklehock

    The permanent fix for this is to run the file "TCUpdate3.exe" from the application folder (eg. C:\Truancy Call or C:\Program Files\Truancy Call), and needs to be run on any machines running Truancy Call.

    This will download an update which is compatible with Microsoft .net Framework 4, which the SIMS Summer Release now uses.

    I'm very sorry if you've had a slow response from Support today - call volumes have been a lot higher than usual today - if you continue to have any issue whatsoever please register a ticket at truancycall.com/support and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
