Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can give me some tips or share their wisdom when it comes to Sims Learning Gateway?
We have two schools, each with their own AD Forest. There is a trust between the two forests and we can acces resources in School A from School B and vice versa.
School A currently has SLG up and running and we'd like to extend it to school B as well. The problem comes when we need to manage user accounts. Obviously SLG pulls its info from the global catalog and our GC's don't replicate across the two forests.
Is there a way we can get SLG to work in both sites? Or can we replicate GC data from one forest to another?
Thanks,
Divaldo.

10th May 2011, 12:20 PM #4 yes, it's just one Sims installation at school A, users in school B are accessing the live data over a WAN link, with a backup database on site in case the link ever goes down.

10th May 2011, 01:26 PM #5 I don't know much on the AD side of things these days, so probably about to say something stupid but I thought if they trust eachother, then a request that has no answer on one forest will go to the other forest and look in the global catalog there.
I'd go with the consultancy option, as it's no doubt going to get a bit complex.
