Hi Guys,

Just after some information on Corero as they are coming in for a meeting to offer a cost effecitve alternative to SIMS.

Any information/Experiances people have had with them or have heard about them.

OTOH I hate their accounts system!

(sorry can't comment on the school MIS part as we don't use that)

It depends on your usage, it doesn't integrate with our Student MIS system for example, its way more complicated to use the HR stuff on the web that originally described etc.

for us it doesn't fit our needs - but then I wasn't consulted about otherwise I would have noticed that earlier!

As an actual accounts sysem its no better or worse than any of the others, but I personally would have stuck with our Sage system, as we haven't had any of the integration benefits we hoped to get!

When I joined just under 2 years ago, I found myself lumbered with Corero.
After countless meetings we are still no further along with a resolution to our issues - namely online enrolments and other certain updates to the core system.
My MIS team are almost in daily contact with Corero support for one thing or another.

If I had a choice, i would probably steer clear of them in my opinion.
