SIMS – Terminal Services – What’s you setup?
I would like to hear from other schools using Terminal Services Variants (Citrix/RDS/ETC.) to run the SIMS client for teacher access (either onsite or remote access).
What’s your setup?
How many servers do you run on?
What RAM do you have in your servers – What RAM per user do you work on?
Do you use RemoteAPP?
This will help us understand how other schools work to ensure our school is using something similar. Presently we are running 3x Remote Desktop Services Servers but struggle with performance – we know we need more RAM and move onto dedicated boxes. – But as always we must present a case for extra funding!
Your feedback is appreciated
