    Spare OMR DRSCD210 [Solved]

Not sure if this is exactly the right place to post this but there is a device in my office with the label "SIMS - OMR DRS CD210". As I recall these things are quite expensive but we have no use for it. If anyone knows a school that is in need of one, please feel free to PM me.

If you get no replies, the manufacturers will promise to call and collect when someone is in your area. They won't collect it, just promise. We have 2 awaiting collection.

Might be worth keeping, then printing OMR for supply staff rather then giving them laptops.

We still use an OMR reader here to input attendance data from the SIMS registration sheets. Ours recently packed up and we got a replacement. Otherwise I could have had yours.

Sold to the person pleading school poverty! Let me have an address (or let me know which of the many Gladstone Primary Schools you are) and I'll pop it in the post.

Ok. Well ... err ... there seems to have been a bit of a misunderstanding there so anyone who actually wants a DRS optical mark reader (model number as stated) which will work with SIMS (at least I believe it will) ... the offer is still open.

This recent thread shows that quite a few still have them : Capita OMR DRS CD230 and a usb-serial converter?

Second question - are you still looking at off-loading it?
