Absence Pay Rate
Starting this thread to point out that there is an issue with the absence pay rate field for independent schools, and a change request has been recorded.
It would be very helpful if you would vote, even if it doesn't affect your school directly as it's pretty critical to us to have this ability that other schools have automatically.
Details below as posted in the independent schools forum and the personnel forum on SupportNet:
When recording absences in SIMS, there is no option to select the absence pay rate.
The lookup for this field is editable, and it can be reported on; it just defaults to Full Pay Rate.
I was told that this is
currently how the system functions for Independent schools and that you will need to log a change request to have this functionality considered.
