[SIMS] Registration Mark Auditing
As an aside, on the audit topic, the registration regulations from 2006 say that there must be a record of any changes to the registration marks for a student, including the original mark, the changed mark, the reason and date of change, and the person that made it. I don't believe this occurs in SIMS does it?
I think the original mark records against the class teacher, even if accessed by someone else, and change reasons go to the default. I get this because i block fill the register via edit marks for the primary school and then the admin staff who changes it based on paper registers corrects it later. Sorry it's off topic, but the point is that i don't think the auditing is as it should be, and registration is a legal issue!

There is a standard LM/Attendance Report that lists changes to Registration Marks but it does not record who first input the Mrak. This report has been available for good many years now.
There should also be another report that lists who made the original entry.

I can confirm that the attendance marks are all audited as it is a legal requirement.

sorry to wake you guys on a saturday, i'll split this off into another thread so as not to distract from the main issue, i would like clarification though, as the change report shows original marks by the form tutor, even though i did them, and the change is recorded but the reason is put in as default. maybe it's just my system, but that can't be right can it.

Am i running the wrong reports?
Reports | Lesson Monitor | Module Reports | History of Changes
We always have a teachers name in the Teacher box, i assumed this was the person who the system thinks entered the original mark, but i guess not from what you're saying.
We don't legally have to monitor but we'd like to, though i know that none of the teachers are using the system, because they are not allowed to and have to do paper registers.
All of the changes come up as Entered in Error, i've never seen the option to change that.
