5 years experience of operating Facility, across 3 schools each in different LAs and working for Serco in Support and later on Implementation teams. Anything I can help with just let me know.

Serco user in 2 schools now, got a total of around 6 years usage of it so happy to help where I can
We also have various Serco staff on here who come on to provide support and assistance.
My first bit of advice is ensure that you are setup as a contact for you school, have Firstline access as well as access to the Serco Forums as they are all hives of good information and you can download training databases, training guides and lots of other very useful items.
Also get it setup wtih a copy of your data on a local Access database on a PC so you can play with it![]()

Evening all,
Thanks John, as usual.
I'm Mic, i've had 2 years in a large secondary school as data manager and assistant exams officer dealing with assessments, exams, attendance, census, etc, and then a further 3.5 years at Serco as support, installation and consultancy (of a technical nature usually).
There are a few other Serco staff lurking around that tend to stay a little quieter but i'm sure they'll PM you or reply to posts as they see fit.
As John said, the forums are a good place to be, and we also now have a blog which will have lots of handy tips on it aswell as a shed load of other features.
Welcome
Mic Sanderson

Oh, and nice to hear from you James and to see you're helping out, hope you're keeping well.
Hi Mic
I am well, now at a school in London (Sir John Cass) as their Data Manager. I am afraid I cannot get away from Facility!

I can too, fully recommend a local copy of your database and ePortal so that you can do anything and not worry about its impact!
