FMS SQL EProcurement Problem with Dot Net 1.1
we have fms sql version at our school which works fine, the problem we have came across is when trying to setup E-Procurement.
under tools->establishment details->eprocurement
there is an option called "use Microsoft Outlook" when we select this and choose the profile it says "cannot use outlook because dot net 1.1 is not installed".
dot net 1.1 is installed.
when we login as a domain admin it works fine.
has anybody seen this before or offer any advice?
thanks for your help

yeah that works but we dont want to be given out local admin in the offices, we ar etrying to keep our security pretty restricted so there arent many loopholes.

25th May 2010, 08:29 AM #4 have you tried other permission roles, maybe power users?
start to cut back and see what the minimum is that will work.
it's probably only a certain part of the C drive that it really wants access to, maybe the windows\temp and program files\sims .
does the workstation also run sims? so that the simsperm.bat permissions would already exist on the box, if they don't that would be a good minimal level to try.
