Address lookup in Sims

Just curious really, has anyone customised there sims to auto populate the address fields ?

ie type in post code and house name/number and it pupulates the rest of the data in the address? i realise it will pull up any information that would already be in the sims database ie. if someone else on the system has the same addresss but is there a way of populateing it from an external source?

Yes, it's call the web address validation (WAV). You can either search your LA (if they are setup) or search Capita's (if your setup).
