    Sims.net OPTIONS

    Hi all,

Whenever anyone here tries to open the options module in sims, an error pops up saying 'The following problem arose when attempting to open the table K:\sims\options\\subject.dbf. Invalid file name.'

Is it as simple as changing the path to K:\sims\options\subject.dbf ? Where would I do this?

    Help

    Dom

On further inspection it should be pointing at K:\sims\options\imp0014\subject.dbf

Any idea's where this is set?

Had this, something to do with the new version and the old version from from Nova-T4 or something. Log a call with Capita or your LA or who ever, they can convert (or get Capita to do it).

In Autumn main Options was upgraded to 32bit. This new 32 bit version will not read implementations created with a gateway of T4 (which the school should not have used for over a year now for timetable construction)
Once the school create a new implementation the subject.dbf error should disappear (this error appears if the program cannot find a valid default directory)
If the school have started Options this year and accidentally marked T4 please send me this implementation (and only this one) and I will convert it.
