    SIMS Net faults

    Our Admin lady encountered SIMS net problems today.

    I'm an stranger to SIMS and wondered if anyone could offer a few pointers please before I ask Capita:

    Messages are:

    Pulsar.exe has encountered a problem: coreperformonext.dll modver 1.1.4322.2032 ofset 000356b.

    C:windows\temp\8bd2- appcompat.txt

    .net Framework Initialisation Error

    C:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v1.1.4322\mscor wks.dll could not be loaded

    Sims.Net Fault

    Fault Code: 1992-6056-7600

    Process performance counter is disabled, so the requested operation cannot be performed: System Invalid Operation Exception.

    Straight from our knowledge base:

    1. Delete the local SIMS .net folder e.g. C:\program files\SIMS\SIMS .net

    2. Run SimsApplicationSetup.exe which is located in e.g. S:\SIMS\SETUPS

    I hope it solves it for you.

    @PhilNeal: you mean the standard... re-install the SIMS client
    Shh ... the pair of you are letting everyone one know the secrets of the trade ... if in doubt, turn it on and off again ... or reinstall the app.

    We will get all sorts of people doing our job now!
