    Just done the update to 7.124 (on a Release Candidate Win 7) and System Manager now works.

    I read on another post about files that are missing in Windows 7.

    Copy them files over and it will all work.

    Instructions below. For 32-bit.

    1. Find an XP machine that Sims is installed and working on.

    2. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32 folder

    3. Copy

    netapi32.dll
    netui0.dll
    netui1.dll
    netui2.dll
    netrap.dll

    4. Download SLAX from the internet and put onto a CD or USB

    5. Copy the DLL files to the memory stick (Easier and doesnt waste a CD)

    6. Boot into SLAX

    7. Copy the DLL files over to the System32 folder on the main HDD

    8. Restart the Computer and run Sims. System Manager should now work.


    I'm not taking credit for this. But I can't find the original document to thank the User.

    Just upgraded to 7.124 and SM works fine.
