    Reinstall the SIMS Applications .exe. Delete the SIMS folder from program files, then run the .exe

    Also, make sure you can write to the sims.ini file, located at C:\Windows

    I know they both sound obvious, but this worked for me a while back.

    Thanks for the help, but it is still coming up with the same error message when I uninstall SIMS, delete the SIMS.net folder and reinstall from simsinst.exe. I can write into the SIMS.ini file as well.

    Any other ideas?

    The fault code is 1954-9462.

    I have been on to the Capita solution search but nothing comes up there.

    Thats nothing new.

    Try checking the locations on the sims.ini, particually the locations for:

    SIMSDirectory=P:\SIMS
    SIMSDotNetDirectory=C:\Program Files\sims\sims .net
    SIMSSetupsDirectory=P:\SIMS\Setups

    (P is our shared network drive)

    Didn't they just remove T4 with the 2009 Autumn Update?

    Only NovaT4 problems I have had have been related to PCL6 printers being set as defualt. If applicable set a PCL5 driver as default and see if it helps.

    T4 still used for reporting, unless it gets moved into SIMS .net in the summer release.
