SIMS: Report to tell me what day it is

I'm getting increasingly lazy and could do with a report that outputs some timetable data from SIMS so that my MediaCats can parse it and disply some info.

My idea is either to have a report shdeuled to run each morning that outputs the name of the day (e.g. 1Mon or 2Mon, etc.) or to have a file containing dates and how they match up to the timetable cycle.

Any ideas on how this could be achieved?

So you need more information than the standard timetable?

I have always found it difficult to print timetable information out, not using the print timetable functionality.
