Default SOLUS3 MSI deployed through GPO?

Has anybody managed to deploy the SOLUS3 agent MSI using group policy?

This is our ideal method to get the agent out to defined workstations using AD groups.

I tried it, but was utterly thunderstruck to find that it didn't work.

I thought you were supposed to use it's own Central Command Interface to push out the agent and also pull it back if need be. It didn't work too well for me on the Beta, but i gather that's the way to go about doing it.

There's over 9,000 machines on the domain, so this isn't a practical way of deploying it.

It's got to be done through regular AD deployment.

It would be silly to do it this way. Solus3 phase 2 should include multi-site support. Over 9,000 workstation can't be on a single network, SOLUS3 doesn't support NAT'ing etc.

Really SMS would be the way to go. Deploying the msi over AD wouldn't give you any reporting and surely you would want to know who got it. Not before we even get started on network traffic.
