Issues with SIMS .net and thin clients

We've been having real issues with SIMS .net lately with our thin client system. Namely, they are freezing randomly when people use SIMS.net. Sometimes SIMS .net as completely crashed, and somehow taken the session with it (so the person has to reconnect to their session to even see the error message), and sometimes it just seems to lag out.

We are using Citrix XenApp on the terminal servers, and things seemed to be going ok up until the last release or so. It just seems to be a huge amount less stable now.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Any hints as to how to prevent this issue?

Heard someone had a huge issues with Citrix XenApp's and SIMS. Thought the new version of XenApp's fixed it. Which part of SIMS crashes it?

Seems to vary. One member of staff uses Personnel a lot, the other uses Assessment Manager a lot.

    Both seem to have issues.

Mmm... only think I can think of is problem with DMS other then out-of-date Xen.

I'm sure Capita won't support a "chroot" enviroment, be nice thoough if Citrix became a SIMS partner, assuming I've got my head round XenApp right.

@localzuk: Have you applied all the latest hotfixes to XenApp - FP2 has just been released (including Hotfix Rollup 5).

No, I'm still at FP1. I shall investigate this asap.

    Thanks to both of you.
