    That'd be nice.

I have just had a call from our Timetabler/Cover supervisor saying that she still wants to use novaT 4/6. I'm pretty sure these won't work under 64bit server. Am I correct?

64bit is only supported on the server, workstation is only 32bit.

Nova-T4/6 are client applications, so you can have a 64bit server, with 32bit clients.

Nova-T4 is 16bit, so won't run on the server. Everything else in SIMS is 32bit. So you could run everything directly on the server, minus nova-t4, but only the server parts will be supported.

Server is defined as the SQL engine, DMS, Central directory (s:\sims)

Workstation is sims apps, fms, nova, exams, sysman, dinner money...

Had a word with Distribution, the installable releases are only available as physical media. Which makes it difficult. Hope someone will poke Phil to get Capita to make a clean setups directory available, or at least the installable releases available for download.
