    Re: Force Sims Log Off

If you look closely you will see that it is the Sims_SQL_DB_Server(server) this is what we use to close down the Full Sims SQL server and start it up as we used to use the MSSQL Server management tool but this failed to initialise on server reboot and we kept having to start it manually so we use SQL anywhere Server management just for the SIMS. The other two databases are for our VLE and printer credits which work incredibly well seeing as most people diss RMCC3.

    Re: Force Sims Log Off

I think You were probably told about running DB Upgrade as it has an option to force all current users from the system.

I had a problem where there would be users still shown as connected even when no one was on and I had restarted the server.

DBUpgrade will require the SA username and password but if you have them (or remember them from when you installed sims) it works great!

I dont think you need sa username and password just a sims user with System Manager rights.

If you were using dbattach on the other hand then you do need sa.
