    SIMS Learning Gateway 2009 Roadmap (UPDATED 15/04/09)

    Is anybody able to download the above roadmap from the supportnet site? Evertime I try to download it, it seems to be corrupt.

    I managed to get it ok. It worked fine too.
    I just tried to re-download it as a test and stupidly overwrote the version I downloaded before. Now I have a corrupt version that won't open!
    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........

    Ok the .doc seems to be corrupt, but the .pdf is fine.

    my guess is someone has put .doc on the site which has caused the corruption.. as its pdf on word

    Might be wrong, but thats what it looks like.

    I think that is the one u want...

    If Capita pull everything off they have promised in the roadmap I think the future looks pretty good for all SLG schools.

    I just cant believe that report viewer wasnt in the first cut...! Hmmmm lets see, allow teachers to write reports at home - but not give access to view them! Yeah thats a good move for the parental engagement...

    Fair play though... they are listening and trying to put all our suggestions in. Agree really looking forward to the Oct release which should have loads of new toys!!

    One wonders why, when Capita introduce new feaures, that there always seems to be more moans about what is missing, rather than the deserved congratulations for the innovations being made. Especially as it is obvious that other things will be added in due course!

    Perhaps because the things that continue to be missing are the things that are required, right now, rather than the "innovations"?

    Personally I would prefer to see things issued sooner rather than have to wait longer for all facets of every innovation to be ready. The 'requirement' is not until September 2010.
    So congratulations to Capita on what is available right now and what is also planned on the Roadmap. Carry on the good work!
