Another Census day debacle
In the nigh on 6 years I've worked in I.T in the Education sector, the returns site has always failed. Have the DFES never heard of load balancing?
The purpose of this e-mail is to inform colleagues that Collect is currently experiencing performance problems which our Microsoft engineers are currently diagnosing. We will rectify the problem and resume a normal service, as soon as possible.
May we apologise for this delay and any inconvenience caused. We will keep you updated on progress.

nope, every year it is the same yet we get the brunt of it when things are delayed becuase we work on "their" timetable.

Our LEA have pretty much given up on COLLECT.
For the first time i've worked in education, our census validated with no warnings or errors!
