Does anyone use this function. We're just embarking on this. Advice/guidance/experiences of what appears to be an overly complicated sytem, most welcome.

We use the behaviour management module extensively and have done away with paper discipline slips all together.
Once staff are trained in it (and that has been a relatively calm process here) it is brilliant - a much more coherent way of recording behaviour/detention. The detention section isn't that complex but of course as it's new staff do have to think a bit more to begin with.
The important thing for me in all the SIMS initiatives we have pushed is to have the message coming right from the top. I am blessed with some excellent SLT members who see the value of central recording and have backed the changes.
