Hi guys,
SIMS .Net seems to go really slow for users at a particular time of day.
I've had a look at the resources and it doesn't seem to be doing anything too mad.
The only thing I could see at that particular time is the attached event.
Will it have anything to do with it?
There's also one for FMS, too.

Thanks.

7th October 2008, 09:10 PM #2 Can't comment on the event you show. However, we did have really poor SIMS performance that was due to an upgrade of Sophos software.
Only short term measure that worked was to increase the size of the virtual memory allocation.
After that SIMS performance was much better.

7th October 2008, 09:24 PM #3 It's a pretty useless message, all that was relevant was this: please help. SQL server logging SMS notifications every 3 seconds. - TechNet Forums
Nothing comes up from EventID.Net - Troubleshooting information for Windows event logs either.
What version of SQL are you running ? If you run up taskmanager is there large amount of memory being used ?
Is it a specific time of day (EG 11:30 every day), if so, check on Virus / Spyware /Win Updates / snapshots / backups, or any other scheduled events that are occuring around this time (or ending at this time).
Or is it simply that this is when every single teacher decides to do their registration ?
