I'm thinking about including the student's Windows username in SIMS as a user defined field - but only if I can figure out a way how to include them as a field in report.
I may be be stupid - but I can't seem to see how to do it. (We already have one user defined field, and it doesn't seem to visible to use in reports.)
Thanks for any help you can give me,
Duncan.

20th September 2008, 10:09 PM #3 When writing a report and getting to the screen where you add fields to the report scroll down the list of available fields and you should see UDF with a plus sign next to it. Clicking the plus should expand it and show all your lovely UDFs or User Defined Fields.

21st September 2008, 08:07 AM #5 I was being dumb :-) I was so busy looking for something starting with "User" that I didn't consider it might be in there as an acronym.
D'oh!
Cheers,
Duncan.
