Simsload for Deployment
Ok there probably a thread on this already somewhere so im sorry if there is but does anyone use simsload.exe to deploy sims updates on the network. That is via a script or something when the computer boots up so theres no need for the user to do it. I've tested it and best i can tell it seems to be working on the 50 or so machines i've deployed it to. I use to deploy it via script launching simsapps and simsmanuals silently because many moons ago when i tried to deploy it via simsload it didnt work but it seems to work now so im trying it out.
Anyway my question is does anyone use it and have they found any problems?

I've heared of people using it but they hit errors with people closing stuff and the fact Capita keeps changing the type of install package.
I know someone who deploys the packages as SMS packages. This is a LOT of work repackaging.
I wouldn't run SIMSLOAD at start, your see why in a few upgrades time.

I dont really have a problem with people closing stuff, as far as i know its done silently and simsload doesnt produce any windows to close anyway, even when run by user. It use to but not anymore since july upgrade i think.
Will keep an eye on it with regards to later upgrades.
