OCR National basedata
Hi all,
So everyones heard about the OCR nationals basedata issue. I have no clue what im suppose to do and neither does our helpdesk. I cant seem to get the basedata to import into a sep 07 season i created. Says the import has already taken place. I cant refresh the basedata as there is no award there to refresh it too.
Anyone succesfully done this?
Cheers

You will need to update the basedata with a version that has been supplied by Capita I think. We have advised schools not to upgrade until they can confirm that the OCR settings are correct

If you have not updated to Aug release, you can use the basedata from the OCR website, which has been updated although the readme file text has not been changed to reflect this. This basedata will not work if you have done the Auguast update.
If you have updated to August there is a version of the basedata that works with Exams 6.66 on Supportnet, it is resource number 14295.

18th August 2008, 03:46 PM #6 Yes, that is correct if you are using the old version of the basdata.
One thing that has come up at some schools is that if your academic year doesn't start on the 1st Sept, and the Sept season does, there can be problems. I got round this by editing the season so that it started on the 3rd, which was when our academic year started, and then the basedata imported OK over the top of the old version which I had used for entries.
