Anyone else use this software? We already have it, but I recently had to install it on another machine. When I did, it auto-updated to the latest version and has caused problems like runtime errors, text to speech not working, calling ALL stored numbers for pupils etc. I'm waiting for feedback from their support department, just wondered if anyone else uses it.
Yeah we use it. Has caused us quite a lot of grief from time to time. There support is quite good though. I know when we installed it onto another machine it caused problems for us too. But it didn't take them long to get it sorted out.

Hmmm... the software problems don't bother me really, but it's when parents get multiple calls of garbled messages and then call the school and give the receptionist a load of grief that annoys me![]()
I'm sure the answer to the 'calling ALL stored numbers for pupils' can be found in the settings menu:

Sorry is this software the same as Groupcall messenger. As I am looking to buy this for the school. Looks like a great piece of software. Does any school use this?
Rather than starting a new thread, I'd just ask how it's going with Truancy Call? We swapped over to Keep Kids Safe recently because of the problems we've had with Truancy call.
We use Truancy Call and don't have many problems with it. I installed a new workstation for our attendance officer yesterday, Installed TC inputted the schools details and off it went.
Easy Peasy...

We've been running with a trial here. Went well - probably will get it. We had some issues with codecs last time - mainly cos we use the KLCP. Tweaked this (swapped to the corporate version from standard) and all sorted.
We use Truancy Call, Call Parents and their Text Someone product.
While all work "ok", they dont blow me away! I get frequent emails from them apologising for loss of service too (despite our Admin team never mentioning anything!)
GroupCall's product (which I saw at BETT09) looked MUCH better and is a similar price.
