Hi All
Just moved to a new school where basically the Sims.net is only used in the office really. The school want to start to move to taking registers next year at some point using lesson monitor. The problem is that the member of staff who writes the timetable does it in excel not nova T6
. Does this mean I would have too input the whole timetable into Sims.net by hand and is this possible? My last school used nova T6 which then you just SQL link to Sims.net to get a timetable and was very successful and not to painful. Any help guys and girls very much appreciated.
Matt

I believe you can import from a .csv into T6, but obviously it would have to be in the right format

Surely the kids timetables all end up in SIMS at the moment?
Not here mate we a special needs school so that knowing what class the kids are in is not a problem their always in the same class. They just want to move to lesson monitor to take registers

I don't really know a lot about lesson monitor but I know that SIMS has two modes of registration - AM/PM or lesson by lesson. If you were to use AM/PM (which I assume is what you use now) it wouldn't requrie the timetable.
