    Commendations & Behavioural Letter system?

    Our current system of doing commendation letters and behavioural (sp?) concern letters is very much a paper based system and has to be sorted by several different people. What kind of system are other people using for this and is there something in SIMs we probably arent using that can help with this?

    We use the behaviour management part of SIMS. We use this to record a multitude of incidents from which we can produce letters.

    Could you quickly describe which modules you use and roughly what you do to produce the letters thanks.

    Sims.net Behaviour has this built in.

    1. You need to record the incidents/achievement - Record it using the Categories;
    2. Use normal Sims.net reporting to pull up reports.
    3. If you want to do letters/certificates, use reporting mail merge to do that.

    You may need to look at the Behaviour Handbook to get started.

    Presently we use Sleuth ... we will be having a demo of their new online version in June, but I also think that the SIMS.net module is pretty spot on once you *know* what you want to do with it.
