Does anyone know if profiles can be accessed via a pda.

Quick question does sims webparts have access to profiles? Also problem I have is that we don't need all the webparts (as we run rm's vle) which has lot of that built into it.

So my question can we buy different modules of the webparts.

Yes SLG has Profiles web parts. At the moment the web parts are designed to fit into SharePoint - that might change in the future depending on demand.

The web parts are designed to give staff access to everything they need to be able to do in the classroom. There are also web parts for parents and pupils which can compliment a Learning Gateway based VLE.

I will talk to the sales guys to find out about sub-dividing.

Well RM VlE is sharepoint underneath it all so should work. My main thing is that can access profiles via a webpart so any clarification on that would be good.

Had a brainwave yesterday we are going to buy a tablet pc for music teacher best of both worlds.
