Am i correct in assuming that the GCSE %'s that the DCSF calculate are based on the students who you submit in the January Schools Census.
We submitted 249 students in our Y11 in January Census but a student has been taken off roll leaving us 248. When it comes to results day in August i will be exporting the results to Excel to do the analysis.
I will be calculating the results based on 248 students but the DCSF will be calculating their %'s based on the students we submitted in Jan.
Is this correct? What if a really bright student joins us in March and gets 10 A*'s do they count as our results or the school they were at during the census?
