I am building a SIMS server but I need the SIMS CD to do the actual sims server install. I do not want to ask Capita for these disks, because they take ages to delivery anyting.
Would anyone be kind enough to post the Feb 2006 CD Image or September 2007 DVD Image please?

Why not just use the setups folder of your current SIMS server?
Is there a particular reason why you need Feb 06 or Sep 07? If so then, again, just out the relevant folders from backup.

19th February 2008, 01:08 PM #3 To start a new (i.e. clean) DB you need either one of these disks.

19th February 2008, 06:40 PM #6 Why don't you try the offical route! If you are a legal user of SIMS you should get a fast service.

19th February 2008, 07:33 PM #7 I think there's a main Feb 2008 release CD available (here).

19th February 2008, 07:45 PM #8 September 2007 is here but I think it's just an update - not a full release.
<edit> It is - it's the August 2007 that's the full release. Find it here.
I assume you're a 'pucker' user. If not - don't even bother. Did you try looking on the support site for the URLs?

And the release zips aren't very imaginatively named if you need the 2006 version. I really hope your SIMS database version isn't that old?!

LOL - oddly enough I was looking for a solution for an FMS issue today and the KB article that caught my attention instructed me to use the 2006 main CD to re-install FMS.
Note to self - disappear for a while so I don't have to do the migration to the SQL version.

19th February 2008, 08:20 PM #11 where do you get the links for this is it on support.capitaes.co.uk, if so where?
EDIT: I am setting up a SIMS installation with a completely new DB (clean), and I was told these were the disks I need, the naming rule does not work for Feb06

Why can't you use the latest full release which seems to be August 2007? I don't really understand SIMS so this may be a daft question.
