Import Staff into Sims.net via a CSV
Does anyone know how to import staff into sims with a csv file.
As we are only using sims for personnel 7, we just want to take the data out of sage payroll into sims via a csv.
There's nothing in the sims help files about importing people from an external data source and i have been through all the menus.
Waiting to here back from sims, but this might be quicker.
thanks for your help.

Cheers, i know that now as Sims got back to me.
I find it hard to believe though that such a common and simple database function is not incorporated into sims as 99% of schools will no doubt have the data already in an importable electronic form.
Its quite annoying that we have all the data for staff already in sage and cannot use the data from that as a csv to import into sims. It wouldnt be so bad if it was aonly a few entries but we have 250-300 members of staff, and re-typing all that data addresses, bank details etc seems pointless when we already have it in electronic form.
I thought there would have been a way, so that people can migrate from one mis to another.
Maybe its something they should think about adding to sims as it would make it so much easier to setup.
thanks for your help.
